Q.   When were the classic GMC Motorhomes built?

A.    The classic GMC Motorhomes were built between 1973 and 1978.

Q.    How many classic GMC Motorhomes were built and how many are still on the road?

A.    Approximately 15,000 were built. It is estimated that there are about one third still on the road.

Q.    Are original parts still available?

A.    Yes and no. It depends on what you are looking for. Some parts are available only as a rebuilt unit. Ken L Frey Auto Repair has access to information on availability of parts.

Q.    Are there upgrades available for the classic GMC Motorhome systems?

A.    Yes, there are upgrades for many of the systems on the classic GMC Motorhome. For example, 16 inch Alcoa wheels allow you to get a larger selection of tires.

Q.    Can I use my classic GMC Motorhome on a regular basis?

A.    Yes, have fun with it! It is better to use it than let it set.

Q.    Are there many classic GMC Motorhomes available for sale?
